BURLINGTON — Lola Kady McLean, 97, of Burlington, died peacefully on April 15, 2013, at A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital, Oneonta, with her family by her side.
She was born June 2, 1915, in Herkimer, the daughter of Nicholas and Julia (Kototowicz) Salamacha.
Lola farmed for over 20 years and was a homemaker who enjoyed her garden, especially her roses.
Her son, Norman McLean; daughters, Shirley Edgett, Marion Curry (Bernard), Joan Day (Jerry), and Virginia Clark; her grandchildren, Kelly and Sherry Wilson, Ricky Clark, Randy Curry, Timothy and Jeffrey Day; her great-grandson, Dustin Clark; her great-granddaughter, Megan Clark; her sister, Mary Iffert; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins survive Lola.
She was predeceased by her brothers, John, Joseph, Henry, Steve and his wife, Mathilda Salamacha; her sisters, Anna Parzych, Aurelia (Amelia) Williams; her grandson, Gary Michael Clark; and her granddaughter, Laurie Ann Clark.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 19, 2013, at the Houk-Johnston-Terry Funeral Home, Edmeston, with Pastor Doug Besemer officiating.
Interment will follow in Hartwick Cemetery, Hartwick.
