BLAKELY, Pa. — Cindy G. Grover, of Blakely, Pa., died Friday, April 19, 2013, at Regional Hospital, Scranton, Pa.

She was the wife of Edgar O. Grover, who died Dec. 2, 1997.

Born Aug. 26, 1958, in Cobleskill, she was the daughter of the late Freeman and Doris Zeh Sperbeck.

She had been employed as a nurse’s aide for 25 years and was last employed at the Golden Living Center in Scranton.

She was a member of the American Legion, Raymond Henry Post 327 in Olyphant, Pa. Her hobby was making crafts and she had a special talent for arranging artificial floral bouquets.

She is survived by her fiancé, Stephen Kovach of Blakely, Pa.; three sons, Roy Grover and wife Lorraine of Childs, Pa., Dave Grover and wife Melanie of Forest City, Pa., and Kirt Grover and Tanya of Scott Township, Pa.; five sisters, Roxann Stockdale and husband George of Worcester, Mary Alice Shafer and husband William of East Worcester, Debbie Greiner and husband Harry of Oneonta, Terry Davidson and husband John of Cobleskill and Star Poliseno and husband Joseph of Schenevus; two brothers, Jody Sperbeck and wife Michelle of Schenevus and Duane Sperbeck and wife Kathy of Anchorage, Alaska; 12 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Minnie Keehle. 

She was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Briss Burton; and a brother, Buddy Sperbeck.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday from the Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 89 Farview St., Carbondale, Pa. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park, Montdale, Pa.
