ONEONTA — Frieda Palmer, 85, of Oneonta, passed away peacefully at her home on Jan. 16, 2014.
Her life was her love and care of her family. Her sweet, fun and mischievous personality made her the joy of their lives. She loved to bake, garden, and go bird watching. She was an active member in the local Daughters of the American Revolution chapter, a dream fulfilled.
She will be missed by her surviving sister, Madelyn Gilbert of Gilbertsville; her children, John (Debbie) Palmer of Jefferson, Dianne Bennett of Oneonta, Joni Pinney of Apex, N.C., and Terri Winter of Cooperstown; her grandchildren, Jennifer Winter of Frederick, Md., Joshua (Christina) Palmer of Sidney, and Jaison Pinney of Apex, N.C.; her three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A private family service will be held in celebration of her life.
