MILFORD — Timothy Martin, 63, of Milford, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014, with his loving family at his side.

Tim was the son of Stanley and Ruth (Briscoll) Martin.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Marilyn; and their two sons, Josh (Melissa) Martin and Adam Martin and their daughter, Gabrielle (John) Puylara, all of Milford. Tim was also the devoted grandfather of Leah Puylara and Addison Martin. He is survived by his mother, Ruth; and his brothers, Stanley (Yvonne) Martin of Roscoe and Lynn (Carol) Martin of Herkimer; his mother-in-law, Marjorie Parshall of Cherry Valley; his brother-in-law, Frederick (Vicki) Parshall of Charleston, S.C.; and his sisters-in-law, Lorraine (Ron) Kosier of Richmondville and Janet (Michael) Butts of Cherry Valley. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Sonja Martin and Ezra Roseman of New York City, Amelia and Tom Brock with Elliott and Sam of Concord, N.H., Benjamin and Lisa Martin of Wallingford, Conn., Sarah and Greg Larson with Jack, Emma and Connor of New Holland, Pa., Courtney and Dan Boddison with Ava and Mia, McKenzie Cassidy and Megan Cassidy, all of Fort Myers, Fla., Jennifer Butts of Westford, Michael, Sharon Butts with Matti of Cherry Valley, Keegan Butts of Cherry Valley and Karlee and Erick Parshall of Charlestown, S.C.

Tim was a 29- year employee and Union Representative at Corning Glass in Oneonta. He was previously employed at Bassett Hospital and with Lane Construction in Virginia.

He devoted many years of service to the Milford Community serving in the Milford Fire Department and EMS squad. Tim was born and raised in Milford and chose to marry and raise a family in the same community which he loved.

Tim was an avid motorcycle rider and enjoyed many trips to Maine camping with family and friends. Sebago Lake was a favorite destination. Tim and his son loved being able to hunt in the forest property surrounding his home.
