---- — Dorothy Elaine Oblinski Bagnardi
SAINT JOHNS, Fla. — Dorothy Elaine Oblinski Bagnardi, born in the Town of Kortright on Nov. 7, 1933, to Joseph and Florence Oblinski, was sister to Frances Fullington, Alyce Oblinski, Delphine Cochetto, John Oblinski and Betty Marino.
Married and widowed to the beloved Francis Anthony Bagnardi.
Mother to James and daughter-in-law Sheli, Holly and son-in-law Buzz and Robert; grandmother to Lacey, Chase, Tucker, Tanner and Trey.
“Dottie” made Hollywood, Fla., her home for 50 years and during that time had many dear friends.
On Jan, 23, 2014, shortly after her 80th birthday, she went to be with the Lord after her struggle with breast cancer.
Her time here with us will be cherished forever while we find comfort in the words of her favorite poem, “Look for me in Rainbows” by Conn Bernard:
“Time for me to go now, I won’t say goodbye;
Look for me in rainbows, way up in the sky.
In the morning sunrise when all the world is new,
Just look for me and love me
As you know I loved you.
It won’t be forever, the day will come and then
My loving arms will hold you, when we meet again.”
