UNADILLA — Ann Jeanette Amatuccio, 72, of Unadilla, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2013, at the A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital, after a long courageous fight with an illness.

Ann was born on Feb. 4, 1941, in Clayville, the daughter of the late Charles and Dora (Laraby) Greenman.

On April 4, 1969, she married Frank Amatuccio and the couple celebrated 35 years of marriage until Frank’s passing in 2004.

Ann was a retiree from Corning Glass in Oneonta after working there for many years.

She really took pleasure in the simple things in life. Some of her favorite pastimes included playing bingo with her friends at the senior center, watching her favorite TV programs and riding her scooter around Unadilla.

But what she loved most was spending time with her family, especially her children, grand and great-grandchildren. May you rest in peace Mom.

Ann is survived by her children, Fred Parliman III of Maryville, Wash., Donna Harris and her husband, Bob of Schenectady, Laurie Kiel and her husband, Daryl of Otego, Carol Barth and her partner, Garrett of Everett, Wash., and James Amatuccio of Oneonta; her stepson, Ralph Amatuccio and his wife, Donna, of Unadilla; and many grandchildren and many, many great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her sister, Shirley Martin of Grand Gorge; and her brother, Bruce Greenman of Mount Upton; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ann was predeceased by her husband, Frank; and her son, Charles “Chuckie” Amatuccio.

Friends and family may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at the Bookhout Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oneonta, at which time the family will be present. A funeral service will be held immediately following the calling hours at 7 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mel Farmer officiating.
