Terence (Terry) R. Doyle

ROXBURY — Terry Doyle passed away suddenly on Feb. 6, 2013, after a brief illness, at the age of 46.

He was born in Flushing on April 29, 1966, the fifth child to his parents, Jim and Betty Doyle. Growing up he lived in Middleburgh, Northport, Long Island, and Torrance, Calif.

Terry graduated from Torrance High School and continued onto California State University at Northridge to receive a BA in Broadcast Radio. Terry took a career change in 2005. He began working at Covidien in Hobart, where he worked until the present time. This allowed him to develop his passion of music. His part in the Crackle Radio Show began on Aug. 30, 2010, which focused on a unique format of bringing local musical talent to light on the radio.

His travels took him through the Southern Tier where he made contacts and friendships that spread throughout the Northeast. WIOX in Roxbury became his home and second family. His spirit will always remain there.

In addition, Terry’s hobbies included music, sports, biking, comic books, baking, and community involvement. He enjoyed being an active member of the Roxbury community.
