Don’t see any more letters supporting the Manor. We can’t give up so quickly! I wish everyone could take one hour of their time and go visit the Manor — walk up and down the halls, talk to the sweet residents (and the workers too). See how worried they are and yet they still try to smile when a visitor comes.
Another thing is, Bassett Hospital has “hundreds” of volunteers, but I don’t see any at the Manor — I wonder why?
If you could stop by any time and visit, you will see what a great place the Manor is.
I can’t imagine why more people don’t care. Remember, some day you will be “old” and might need the Manor. Then what?
Please pray that the Manor stays “as is,” and that they get some volunteers to read, play games, etc.
Thanks for caring.
