Could you please explain to me why your readers were subjected to a self-serving, way, way too long front-page article, no less, about Facebook, written by a 24-year-old who had no life experiences other than she graduated college and has a job on your newspaper?
I’m 70 years old. I signed on to Facebook about five years ago. The only friends I have are family and a few good friends. I use it to keep in touch with my children who live out of the area and recently connected with some long-lost brothers and nieces.
I sent some family pictures, via Facebook, to my niece. She was overjoyed to see a picture of her aunt, who died about 20 years ago; she had named a daughter after her and until then did not have a picture of her. This is what Facebook should be used for.
