I strongly agree with Mr. Krzeminski regarding the ill-considered banning of books at the SPCA Thrift Shop. The book area took up very little room in the thrift store building and attracted many people who would not otherwise frequent the shop, and often found other items to purchase while book-shopping. It’s a short-sighted move on the board’s part, and several people in the community I know will not be stopping by there again.
Perhaps there are enough other members of the board who understand this for what it is — a loss for the animals and a loss for book lovers of all ages and incomes. Please bring back the books!
