Cheers ... to Howard Lynch!
His opinion of Obama’s health care plan (in the Dec. 13 Daily Star) was right on and I can’t agree more. It is hard for me to believe our president is an American. He is great with talk but he can’t walk the walk, in my opinion.
The reference by Mr. Lynch to “Dhimmitude” was the second time it has been called to my attention. The first was from a friend dated Tuesday, June 18. I suggest if you do not know it, please look it up on the Internet, as I could not find it in my Webster’s Ninth New Collegiate Dictionary. It appears to refer to Muslim belief.
It is scary how fast we seem to follow a Socialist/Communist course that has shown past failure. Have too many American citizens succumbed to the wishes and wants of the non-citizens and those who want government rule of their existence? I can’t understand how some people openly support Obamacare, which forces people to buy something, then fines them if they don’t. If not criminal, it is most certainly unjust.
Many of us left who were brought up in the 1930s to 1940s had no insurance until we were hired by a company offering that benefit. Until then, we took care of ourselves. Now it seems we are supposed to take care of those who don’t want to care for themselves.
Have a Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year.
