These two, short sentences and the list below tell you a lot about our government and our culture:
1. We are advised to NOT judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics. Funny how that works.
And here’s another one worth considering ....
2. Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of money. How come we never hear about welfare running out of money? What’s interesting is the first group “worked for” their money, but the second didn’t.
Now I want to clarify: welfare is needed and I am not against it. What I am against is the raping of the system by those who receive welfare and don’t deserve it. So don’t judge those that do because of, not just a few, but many!
In America, we have to press “1” to speak English.
In America, the homeless go without eating.
In America, the elderly go without needed medicines.
In America, the mentally ill go without treatment.
In America, our troops go without the proper equipment.
In America, our veterans go without promised benefits.
Yet we donate billions to other countries before helping our own.
Oh! And you don’t want hear about our politicians’ income, Social Security and health benefits.
