The Daily Star
---- — Springtime has finally come to us in the greater Oneonta area, with its warmth, sunshine, emerging shrubs, green lawns, with more smiles than frowns, and how we relish it!
In another brief month, the Oneonta Outlaws baseball team of college All Stars will begin its season of 40 games in 42 days with its home base of Damaschke Field, upgraded a couple of years ago.
Did you know that we have a Holy Trinity of great local leadership for the first time in 2013 in owner Gary Laing, Business Manager Steve Pindar and Coach and Manager Joe Hughes of Oneonta High School? They deserve our backing and support, so please come out with family and friends to enjoy good baseball in our City of the Hills at a reasonable price with food and beverages handy.
Here’s to seeing you at the park beginning in early June. Let’s give these guys a boost and enjoy ourselves.
