I saw your story on Feb. 22 about Colorado and Utah moving the smoking age up to 21. I think it’s great that the states are raising the smoking ages. It’s great because the teens could stop smoking and realize that smoking is wrong when they get to be 21. It also would make it harder for kids to get cigarettes.
The smoking rate is low but the states could put a stop to smoking if teens have time to think about what will happen if they smoke. They could think about everything that smoking could do and they’ll have a list that would go on for a long time.
