A few comments relative to the recent article (”Author recounts history of State University College of Technology at Delhi, life experience,” Oct. 25.): The book was written and illustrated in a comprehensive manner, juxtaposing college history, community and culture. It was written to be both interesting and informative, with a generous sampling of humor. Copies have been distributed free of charge to area libraries and public schools. Sales to alumni and the public have been brisk.
The title “The New School Has Opened, It Promises Good Things,” was taken from an editorial at the time of inception. More importantly: I am donating all proceeds to the college to aid students now and in the years to come. Thank you.
