Fracking revenue a false promise

I remember when New York state in order to pass gambling and the lottery told us how this new influx of revenue was going to help reduce and bring down costs in our education system.

Well, you all know how that worked out, just look at how low your school tax bill is . Now NYS is singing the same old song, wanting us to believe gas fracking revenue will be a big boost to the upstate economy.

Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. ... I am sure lots of money will be made by fracking but it will most likely go to people living on Park Avenue and Wall Street, not folks upstate who live on Main Street.

And if pouring chemicals into the earth near my home is so safe, let them first start fracking near the NYC reservoirs.
