---- — Time to say ‘enough’ to more G-MU spending
What is Gilbertsville-Mount Upton School trying to pull?
They just got their budget passed, also got their lighting passed, plus new buses passed. Now they want $4 million more for buildings and equipment. That they do not need. The school board members are up to no good. They scheduled the vote for July 30, when most people are away on vacation.
It’s time for taxpayers to say we have had enough of unneeded spending. School should go back to the basics and just teach the kids, and forget about all the extras the taxpayers have to pay for. The people paying school taxes should be the only ones voting.
