In Your Opinion: Church won't miss writer's bad attitude

It has taken me a period of about 24 hours to sit down with a response to Dorey Munch’s letter, “We’ve left the church and won’t be back.”

As a “proud practicing Catholic,” you seem to be a person who certainly has issues with the Catholic church, and, yes, has issues with herself as well. Sounds to me like you’re trying to spread your poison to anyone who will listen. Not going to work!

The priest that you refer to in your letter from Cooperstown wrote an honest and sincere letter as our church is today. Yes, we have “cracks”; however, we are all working together with our “shepherd” (Yes, I said “shepherd”) to help make this a better world for all of God’s people.

Your comment saying “unwitting infants are Baptized, are clueless and bound for life” shows me what a sick person you really are!

As for taking a shot at our bishops and cardinals, lady, you have really gone over the edge. They along with our new pope, Pope Francis, are working together with their flock to help the poor, help make our “crack” smaller, and most importantly a better world for all of God’s people to live.

Dorey Munch, you say you’re leaving the church and not coming back? Don’t let the door hit you on the rear on your way out!
