Both parties will share fracking blame

Both parties will share fracking blame

Fracking is coming, there’s no way around it. When you have a government that can’t pay its bills, the sale of natural resources is one way out. A political philosophy that taxing the working population and handing it to corrupt governments around the world and to people in our own country that don’t care to work, cannot last forever. Selling natural gas, oil and anything else your leaders can pillage from the land can become an alternative to going broke. The bills have to be paid.

I’m ashamed of both the Democrats and Republicans for failing us. I am losing more respect day-by-day in the current leadership. Don’t be fooled to believe that fracking is the Republican Party’s fault. Democrats and Republicans alike will be responsible for allowing drilling. The pockets of politicians and big-business people will be lined.

Waste, fraud and corruption are so prevalent in the world of politics and corporate America, we all know that. So why all of a sudden will our political leadership gain a conscience and do what is right, and not think of what evolves monetarily from drilling. So please, Democrats, don’t listen to your side that it’s the Republican side’s fault. Be smarter than that and point a finger at them as well. Don’t just be party people. Use common sense when voting.

I’m a Republican who believes the environment is the most important issue here. Find the good people to vote for — Democrat, Republican or Independent. And remember, most politicians care about one thing, their lifestyle. Living through tinted-glass windows, eating organic foods daily, living on a better health care program different than yours and mine, and attending private schools, is their lifestyle. Is that yours?
