Just this past weekend, in Arizona, a young father was shot to death by his 4-year-old, who was playing with a gun. Apparently this is how we celebrate Father’s Day in the 21st-century USA.
This is the kind of unfortunate boo-boo that can only be addressed fairly by making more guns and ammo available to all U.S. citizens regardless of age, mental state or any other criteria. Guns of all types must be accessible to everyone at all times. Ammunition should be sold at discount vending machines. Background checks for purchase and, for that matter, serial numbers on firearms need to eliminated. Then we can achieve the Utopian ideal of Wayne LaPierre, etc. — Deadwood.
