Senior Menus

Otsego County

The menu by Prestige Services Inc. for the Otsego County Senior Meals Program for the week of Sept. 2-6 will be:

Monday _ Closed for Labor Day.

Tuesday _ Pepper steak with gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, lemon pudding.

Wednesday _ Open face pork sandwich, French fries, spinach, applesauce.

Thursday _ Barbecued chicken, baked beans, carrot-raisin salad, warm dinner roll, lime gelatin with diced pears.

Friday _ Breaded fish on bun, macaroni and cheese, stewed tomatoes, fruit cup.

Reservations must be made at least one day in advance. Monday reservations must be made Friday. Delaware County

The menu of the Delaware County Senior Dining Program the week of Sept. 2-6 will be:

Monday _ Closed for Labor Day.

Tuesday _ Meat lasagna, broccoli, tossed salad, cran-orange juice, whole wheat bread, butterscotch pudding with topping, pineapple

Wednesday _ Roast turkey with gravy, mashed potatoes, peas and carrots, cranberry sauce, whole wheat bread, lemon pudding with topping.

Thursday _ Meat loaf with gravy, dijon roasted potatoes, sliced cucumber salad, stewed tomatoes, whole wheat bread, pears with chocolate chip cookie.

Friday _ Crab topped Tilapia, baked potato, orangey beets, apple juice, whole wheat bread, ice chocolate cake.

Call by 10 a.m. on the serving day for reservations. Dining centers and hours are; serving from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Wednesday _ Barbecued chicken leg and thigh, baked beans, warm roll, marinated tomato cucumber salad, fruit cup.

Thursday _ Baked fish with herb sauce, au gratin potatoes, Brussels sprouts, wheat bread, vanilla ice cream.

Friday _ Spanish rice, cauliflower, Italian bread, warm bread pudding.
