Senior Menus

Otsego County

The menu by Prestige Services Inc. for the Otsego County Senior Meals Program for the week of Sept. 29-Oct. 3 will be:

Monday _ Baked chicken with creamy lime thyme sauce, oven-browned potatoes, broccoli, chocolate pudding.

Tuesday _ Meatloaf with gravy, mashed potatoes, harvard beets, vanilla ice cream.

Wednesday _ Creamy fruity Jell-O salad, cream of broccoli soup, cold sliced turkey on a roll with lettuce, blueberry muffin.

Thursday _ Breaded fish with tartar sauce on a bun, french fries, stewed tomatoes, fruit cup.

Friday _ Swiss steak with tomatoes and onions, oven browned potatoes, brussels sprouts, lemon pudding.

Delaware County

The menu of the Delaware County Senior Dining Program the week of Sept. 29-Oct. 3 will be:

Monday _ Chicken cacciatore with spaghetti, wax and green bean saute, tossed salad, garlic bread, ice cream, diet fruit.

Tuesday _ Pot roast with gravy, mashed potatoes, roasted carrots, cran-grape juice, whole wheat bread, fruited Jell-O with topping, diet fruit.

Wednesday _ Orange pork, oven steamed rice, broccoli, golden glow molded salad, whole wheat bread, hot apple crisp.

Thursday _ Country fried steak, mashed potatoes, Waldorf salad, peas, whole wheat bread, plain Jell-O with topping, diet Jell-O.

Friday _ Creamy spinach lasagna, buttered beets, coleslaw, garlic bread, chocolate ice cream sundae with topping.

Call by 10 a.m. on the serving day for reservations. Dining centers and hours are; serving from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

The menu for the Schoharie County Senior Meals Program for the week of Sept. 29-Oct. 3 will be:

Monday _ Breaded fish on a bun with tartar sauce, macaroni and cheese, stewed tomatoes, peaches and pears.

Tuesday _ Ham with mustard sauce, fresh baked sweet potato, spinach, wheat bread, vanilla pudding, diet pudding.

Wednesday _ Baked chicken with onion gravy, fresh baked sweet potato, steamed broccoli, dinner roll, cinnamon raisin muffin.

Thursday _ Chili mac with cheese, carrots, warm corn bread, fruit cup with mandarin oranges.

Friday _ Baked fish with herb sauce, au gratin potatoes, brussels sprouts, wheat bread, lime Jell-O with pears, diet lime Jell-O with pears.

Tuesday _ Creamed chipped beef, mashed potatoes, peas, rye bread, pineapple oatmeal square with topping.

October's menus were not available at press time.
