Senior Menus: Sept. 23-27



Monday:Turkey Divan, egg noodles, carrot coins, whole wheat bread and pear blush.

Tuesday: Sloppy Joe on a bun, coleslaw, tater tots and mandarin oranges.

Wednesday: Chicken spiedies, mashed potatoes, broccoli, Italian bread and vanilla pudding with topping.

Thursday: Creamed chipped beef, mashed potatoes, peas and carrots, multi-grain bread and blueberry crumble cake.

Friday: Meat lasagna, veggie blend, tossed salad, warmed garlic bread and peanut butter cookie.


Coventry: Windy Hill Senior Center, Coventry Town Hall, state Route 235, Tuesday and Thursday, 656-8602.

Greene: Brightman Senior Center, Birdsall Street, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 656-4789.

McDonough: Genegantslet Activity Center, Methodist Church, two Thursdays per month, 647-5666.

Call by 10 a.m. on the serving day for reservations. Hours are weekdays 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.


Monday: Chicken cacciatore, spaghetti noodles, Italian blend vegetables, tossed salad, garlic bread and peachy cream pudding.

Tuesday: Potato crusted Pollock, fresh parslied potatoes, capri blend vegetables, coleslaw, whole wheat bread and strawberry ice cream sundae.

Wednesday: Orange pork, oven steamed rice, fresh broccoli, golden glow salad, whole wheat bread and hot apple crisp.

Thursday: Country fried steak, oven roasted potatoes, winter blend vegetables, quick fruit salad, whole wheat bread and cinnamon coffee cake.

Friday: Pot roast with gravy, mashed potatoes, glazed carrots, cran-grape juice, whole wheat bread and diced pears.
