Senior Menus: Sept. 30 to Oct. 4



Monday: Chicken and gravy over biscuit, green beans, peaches.

Tuesday: Kielbasa and sauerkraut, German potato salad, sliced carrots, multigrain bread, pineapple tidbits.

Wednesday: Hamburger on a bun with lettuce and tomato, marinated veggie salad, sugar-free and regular fruited gelatin.

Thursday: Hot open face turkey sandwich with gravy, butternut squash, wheat bread, sugar-free and regular cranberry cruch with topping.

Friday: Stuffed cabbage roll with sauce, cauliflower, veggie blend, seedless rye bread, sugar-free and regular chocolate mousse.


Coventry: Windy Hill Senior Center, Coventry Town Hall, state Route 235, Tuesday and Thursday, 656-8602.

Greene: Brightman Senior Center, Birdsall Street, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 656-4789.

McDonough: Genegantslet Activity Center, Methodist Church, two Thursdays per month, 647-5666.

New Berlin: Unadilla Valley Senior Activity Center, Terrace Heights Center, Tuesday and Thursday, 847-8053.

Norwich: Westside Park Senior Center, First Baptist Church, West Park Place, weekdays, 334-2910.

Sherburne: The Welcome Center, Grace Manor Center, Knapp Street, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 674-4600.

South Otselic: Plum Valley Forever Young Center, Methodist Church, Church Hill Road, two Fridays per month, (315) 653-4411.


Call by 10 a.m. on the serving day for reservations. Hours are weekdays 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.


Monday: Chili con carne, steamed rice, seasoned corn, carrot raisin salad, wheat bread, sugar cookies.

Tuesday: Ham with raisin sauce, sweet potatoes, parslied cauliflower, Waldorf for all seasons, wheat bread, brownie.

Wednesday: Spanish rice, string beans, cottage cheese and peaches, wheat bread, peach cobbler.

Thursday: Spaghetti and meatballs, mixed vegetables, tossed salad, garlic bread, gelatin with topping.

Friday: Macaroni and cheese, mixed greens salad  stewed tomatoes, wheat bread, pineapple tidbits.

Reservations must be made at least one day in advance. Monday reservations must be made by Friday.
