Monday: Spicy cranberry chicken patty, Yukon gold mashed potatoes, San Francisco blend vegetables, oatmeal bread, holiday tree cookie, and diet cookie.

Tuesday: Closed for Christmas Day.

Wednesday: Beef stew with biscuit, Brussels sprouts, M’n’M Cookie and diet cookie

Thursday: Pork barbecue on bun, Garlic herb potatoes, chateau blend vegetables, Yankee bean soup with crackers, hamburger bun, butterscotch pudding.

Friday: Stuffed pepper, tater tots, Chuck wagon blend vegetables, whole wheat bread, cranberry crunch with topping.

Call by 10 a.m. on the serving day for reservations. Hours are weekdays 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Monday: Closed for Christmas Eve.

Tuesday: Closed for Christmas Day.

Wednesday: Beef cabbage bake, broccoli, cran-apple juice, whole wheat bread, ice cream sundae.

Thursday: Macaroni and Cheese, stewed tomatoes, three bean salad whole wheat bread, vanilla pudding.

Friday: Round house chicken, steamed rice, Capri blend vegetables, cranberry sauce, whole wheat bread, fruit cocktail.

  • April activities abound at Thanksgiving Home There were many April fool jokes played here at Clara Welch Thanksgiving Home on April 1. Some of us found our door name plates turned upside down or swapped with one from another door and furniture and objects were mysteriously moved around in our rooms. The dining room was completely transformed from its usual formal setting into a hodpodge of mismatched china and … horrors, plastic tablecloths and paper napkins. Each table was decorated with a different theme, Christmas, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Easter. Christmas carols played in the background. We suspect that Dee Bouck, of Personal Care and John Santello, Activities Director, were mainly responsible for this mayhem.
