Senior Menus: Aug. 5-9



Monday: Kielbasa with sauerkraut, German potato salad, rye bread (seedless) and pear blush.

Tuesday: Spanish rice, cauliflower, tossed salad, whole wheat bread and apple crisp.

Wednesday: Barbecued chicken leg, potato salad, Southwestern blend fresh fruit and multi-grain bread.

Thursday: Spaghetti with meatballs, spaghetti sauce, green beans, small dinner roll and berries and cream.

Friday: Roast pork with gravy, mashed sweet potatoes, spinach and pineapple upside down cake.


Coventry: Windy Hill Senior Center, Coventry Town Hall, state Route 235, Tuesday and Thursday, 656-8602.

Greene: Brightman Senior Center, Birdsall Street, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 656-4789.

McDonough: Genegantslet Activity Center, Methodist Church, two Thursdays per month, 647-5666.

Call by 10 a.m. on the serving day for reservations. Hours are weekdays 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.


Monday: Spaghetti with sauce, meatballs, mixed green salad, string beans, garlic bread and mandarin oranges.

Tuesday: Chicken salad, tri-colored pasta salad, rosey apple relish, sliced tomato on greens, dinner roll and watermelon.

Wednesday: Ham steak with pineapple, sweet potatoes, cauliflower, quick fruit salad, whole wheat bread and iced chocolate cake.

Thursday: Roast turkey with gravy, mashed potatoes, fresh squash medley, cranberry sauce, whole wheat bread and oatmeal raisin cookies.

Friday: Baked tilapia Parisienne, baked potato, beets with pineapple, coleslaw, whole wheat bread and chocolate pudding.
