DELAWARE COUNTY

Menus

Call by 10 a.m. on the serving day for reservations. Hours are weekdays 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Monday: Caribbean pork rib, sweet potatoes, parslied cauliflower, three been salad, whole wheat bread, pears.

Tuesday: Hamburger stroganoff with mushrooms, egg noodles, fresh buttered carrots, cran-apple juice, vanilla pudding.

Wednesday: Chicken and broccoli Alfredo, sliced beets, snow on the mountain wheat bread, peach upside down cake.

Thursday: Appetizers and punch; pot roast with gravy, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, molded Waldorf salad, dinner roll, pumpkin mousse with toppings.

Friday: Potato crusted Pollock, boiled parslied potatoes, fresh baked squash, cole slaw, fruited Jello with topping.

Tuesday: Vegetable lasagna, tomato zucchini casserole spinach, tossed salad, Italian bread, birthday cake, diet birthday cake.

Wednesday: Spanish rice, peas, carrot coins, oatmeal bread, birthday cake, diet birthday cake.

Thursday: Breaded fish sandwich with tartar sauce, sweet potato puffs, three bean salad, hamburger roll, Mandarin orange sections.

Friday: Ham loaf, winter squash, Bahama blend vegetables, seedless rye bread, chocolate mousse with topping, diet chocolate mousse with topping.

  • April activities abound at Thanksgiving Home There were many April fool jokes played here at Clara Welch Thanksgiving Home on April 1. Some of us found our door name plates turned upside down or swapped with one from another door and furniture and objects were mysteriously moved around in our rooms. The dining room was completely transformed from its usual formal setting into a hodpodge of mismatched china and … horrors, plastic tablecloths and paper napkins. Each table was decorated with a different theme, Christmas, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Easter. Christmas carols played in the background. We suspect that Dee Bouck, of Personal Care and John Santello, Activities Director, were mainly responsible for this mayhem.
