Senior Menus: Feb. 4 to 8



Monday: Sweet and sour pork, rice pilaf, Oriental blend vegetables, oatmeal bread, fresh fruit.

Tuesday: Spaghetti with meat sauce, Capri blend vegetables, Italian bread, peanut butter cookie.

Wednesday: Vegetable quiche, stewed tomatoes, peas, rye bread, whipped delight.

Thursday: Roast beef with gravy, garlic red skinned mashed potatoes, Prince William blend vegetables, tossed salad, dinner roll, cranberry crunch with topping; evening meal in McDonough.

Friday: Spicy cranberry, chicken patty, sweet potato, San Francisco blend vegetables, multi-grain bread, chef’s mixed fruit.


Coventry: Windy Hill Senior Center, Coventry Town Hall, state Route 235, Tuesday and Thursday, 656-8602.

Greene: Brightman Senior Center, Birdsall Street, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 656-4789.

McDonough: Genegantslet Activity Center, Methodist Church, two Thursdays per month, 647-5666.

New Berlin: Unadilla Valley Senior Activity Center, Terrace Heights Center, Tuesday and Thursday, 847-8053.

Norwich: Westside Park Senior Center, First Baptist Church, West Park Place, weekdays, 334-2910.

Sherburne: The Welcome Center, Grace Manor Center, Knapp Street, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 674-4600.

Call by 10 a.m. on the serving day for reservations. Hours are weekdays 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.


Monday: Orange pork, steamed rice, broccoli florettes, apple juice, dinner roll, iced chocolate cake.

Tuesday: Baked chicken, sweet potato wedges, seasoned spinach, three-bean salad, whole wheat bread, butterscotch pudding.

Wednesday: Beef macaroni casserole, green bean sauté, tossed salad, garlic bread, ice cream with caramel topping.

Thursday: Roast turkey and gravy, mashed potatoes, peas and carrots, cranberry sauce, whole wheat bread, fruit cocktail.

Friday: Baked tilapia, fresh parslied potatoes, Capri blend vegetables, orange pineapple juice, whole wheat bread, pineapple tidbits, peanut butter cookie.
