---- — Thomas and Grace (Baranowski) Speranzi of Oneonta celebrated their 60th anniversary Saturday, Feb. 22, with their family and their spouses and other immediate family members.

The couple were married Feb. 28, 1954, in St Mary’s Church, Oneonta. Best man was Mike Sparaco and the matron of honor was Ralphie Chickerelli.

The family includes son, Thomas, and companion, Deb, of Oneonta, John of Oneonta, Robert and daughter-in-law Arlene of West Oneonta; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Grace and Tom also had a daughter Elaine who passed away in 1970.

Tom retired in 1993, from the New York State Department of Transportation. He is a United States Marine Corps veteran having served in the Korean War.

Grace was employed at the Oneonta Elks Club for more than 25 years, and also raised three boys.

Grace and Tom are regular worshipers of St. Mary’s Church in Oneonta. They are both enjoying their family and retirement
