Senior Menus: March 10 to 14

The following are senior-meals menus for the week of March 10 through 14    



Monday: Sloppy Joe on a bun, green beans, tater tots, garden salad and pineapple tidbits.

Tuesday: Baked rosemary chicken, oven roasted potatoes, capri blend vegetables, birthday cake and rye bread.

Wednesday: Hot open faced turkey sandwich with gravy, broccoli and cauliflower, carrots, birthday cake and whole wheat bread.

Thursday: Meat lasagna, waxed beans, garden salad, peanut butter cookie and Italian bread.

Friday: Fish patty, hamburger bun, roasted potatoes, San Francisco blend and bead pudding with raisins and topping.


Coventry: Windy Hill Senior Center, Coventry Town Hall, state Route 235, Tuesday and Thursday, 656-8602.

Greene: Brightman Senior Center, Birdsall Street, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 656-4789.

McDonough: Genegantslet Activity Center, Methodist Church, two Thursdays per month, 647-5666.

Call by 10 a.m. on the serving day for reservations. Hours are weekdays 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.


Monday: Stuffed shells, seasoned spinach, tossed salad, garlic bread and mandarin oranges.

Tuesday: Chicken florentine, mixed vegetables, pineapple juice, cranberry sauce, whole wheat bread and brownie.

Wednesday: Beef patty, peppers, onions, brown gravy, roasted potatoes, steamed peas, whole wheat bread and iced yellow cake.

Thursday: Roast turkey and gravy, whipped potatoes, Butternut squash, cranberry sauce, whole wheat bread and fruited Jell-O.

Friday: Crab topped tilapia, Greek oven fries, Italian blend vegetables, coleslaw, whole wheat bread and tapioca pudding.
