The committees will meet Thursday, Nov. 8, to complete drafting the information to be released for public consideration, it was announced after a meeting Thursday night of the individual Citizens Committees with their respective boards of education.
“Preliminary review of the new cost study appears to present a more favorable picture than previous studies due to additional state aid to be gained through the Diefendorf formula.”
The Otego Committee consisted of Irmabelle and Charles Sheldon, Charles Smith, Roderick Dutcher, Mildred Gage, Lawrence Marlett, Edwin Harris, Ira Beers, Jean Frasier, Janet Bennett, Frances Hall, Percy and Mary Tompkins, Mabel Lent, Margaret Tuttle, Frances Bullis, Clara Stevens, Stuart Hurlburt, and Stanley Hall.
The Unadilla meeting was attended by members of the Board of Education and committee representatives who have been working on the needs of Unadilla Central School for the past two years
It is anticipated that the two separate committees will merge their working members into a single group.
