The committee chairman in charge of the morning ceremonies, who will also act as master of ceremonies, is Stuart Conkey, commander of Harold McIntyre Post American Legion.
The speaker will be the Rev. W. Robert Mattox, pastor of Holmesville Baptist Church. Donald Helling will be in charge of the music, and Oscar Nelson color bearer.
The order of parade is as follows: Marshall, color bearer, color guard, firing squad, veterans, veterans’ cars, speaker and clergy car, band, boy scouts, cubs, brownies, girl scouts, Odd Fellows, Rebekahs, Grange, school bus, bicycles (if decorated), firemen, fire trucks.
The Old Home Day observance will start with a dinner from noon until all are served in the Baptist Church dining room where Mr. Simpson is pastor.
The enlarged museum of the branch of the New York State Historical Association, which was established in 1962, will hold open house from 1 to 4 p.m., and there will be many added articles of historical interest.
