DELHI — Pizza Hut is interested in buying adjoining Delhi village and Agway parcels on lower Main Street to build a new restaurant.
James Ryan of Cazenovia, real estate agent representing Fugate Enterprises, Pizza Hut chain owner, wants to buy three acres from the village and 35 acres from Agway that are situated between the Agway store and Delhi Tech baseball fields.
Last year, Ryan offered the village $7,500 for the land, but those terms have since changed, said village officials. The village is waiting for a formal offer.
Plans for the new restaurant show a 68-by-35 foot building and 28 parking spaces.
