WALTON — Delaware Valley Hospital board of directors has voted to purchase a new Millner washer-extractor for use in the laundry of the hospital at an estimated cost of $2,640. The hospital also has recently purchased a new blood bank refrigerator.

Directors voted to admit Mr. Thomas M. Flanagan, Norwich, to the consulting staff of the hospital with privileges in urology.

Several changes have been made in personnel at the hospital. Mrs. Henry Turtur R.N., has withdrawn as operating room nurse to accept a post as obstetrical nurse. Mrs. Robert Ruff R.N., assistant head nurse on the medical and surgical floor, has been assigned to the position in the operating room.

Mrs. John R. Clark R.N. has accepted the position of head nurse on the medical and surgical floor to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Mrs. Martin Freyer of Masonville. Mrs. George Drumm of Rockroyal, Mrs. Rose Brockway of Walton, and Mrs. Robert Harrold, Walton, are registered nurses who have been added to the staff.

Miss Winifred Chase, former dietician in the hospital, has taken a similar position in Syracuse. The vacancy in the Walton hospital has been filled by Mrs. John Gilmore of Delhi.
