Mrs. and Mrs. Millard Trask of Otego thought they would visit their son, Larry’s family in Columbus, Ohio.
So they wrote to the Ohio Trasks and told them they would but did not mention when they would arrive.
So the Otsego Trasks set out for the Midwest. They got on busy Route 21 south of Cleveland and an auto passed them. The driver waved. Finally pulled the older couple over.
Yep. You guessed it, it was young Larry Trask so surprised to see his parents in the Midwest. He was at a conference in Cleveland and had no idea they would be traveling that road where they were.
“The odds against that happening again are 1,000 to 1,” the elder Trask said.
But the odds makers feel that he’s conservative.
