Where were you when the earthquake occurred?

"I was sitting on a park bench reading a book. It felt like a dog was trying to dig (something) up, but I didn't know what happened until someone said something about it. It was the first one I felt in 30 years."

"I was moving some boxes around. I worried a bit that it might get worse, but it was done in a few seconds."

"Driving. I thought I was having car problems but heard a few seconds later on the radio it was a quake."

"At work, hoping I would get to go home early."

"Just watching my grandkids. I never thought it was serious but did get a call from their mom."

"I was actually taking a nap, it woke me up."
