Street Talk Today is President's Day. Who is your favorite President? Feb. 20, 2012

"Harry Truman. I think he was the man with the motto 'the buck stops here.' He knew how to handle people and knew how to read people. He was an ordinary man and not a money man."

Jessie Pindar, retired, Middleburgh.

"Clinton. He did a really good job. He did a lot of great things for the country. He got us a budget surplus."

Jeff Gorence, cable technician, Oneonta.

"Abraham Lincoln. He was a very hardworking man when he was growing up, and he was 'Honest Abe.'"

Zachary Taylor Siems, fifth grade, Otego Elementary School.

"Barack Obama. I think he's done a good job with the position he was put in. The economy was bad when he was elected and he's done his best to improve it."

Lauren Noyes, freshman, Hartwick College.

"F.D.R. He did so much for this country, and I think he's one of the presidents who's done the most for the people. We don't really recognize him as much anymore. He did more for this country than many people recognize."

Megan Henson, freshman, Hartwick College.

"Clinton, because of what he did for us, his foreign policies and ability to communicate."

Dorothy Regazzi, senior meals manager, Delhi.
