Our Winner!
Congratulations to our Easter Egg Hunter Winner – Kim Kerpenning who found the egg in its hiding place Tuesday afternoon. (March 11, 2008).
The eggs hiding place: The arch of a tree in Oneonta’s Neahwa Park, not far from the small statue of liberty monument.
How to play:
-Look for a new clue each day hidden in our classified section of our print version.
-Follow the clues to find the location of our hidden Easter Egg
-Be the first person to find the Easter Egg and return it to our 102 Chestnut Street location - and win $500!!
Regulations:
-Up to 15 consecutive clues will be published; one per day starting March 1st.
-Each clue will appear daily in a random location of our classifieds section
-The last clue will be published March 18, 2008 - Prize must be claimed by March 21, 2008
-Employees and their immediate families of The Daily Star, and independent contractors are not eligible.
-The contest winner is responsible for any and all taxes related to the prize.
-The $500 prize can be claimed by bringing the egg and the coupon inside to the Circulation Department of The Daily Star during normal business hours, 8:30am to 5pm. Monday through Friday. The money will be received within 14 business days.
-As a condition of receiving the $500 prize, the winner will permit the publication of his or her name and photograph in The Daily Star without further compensation.
-No purchase necessary to win.
