April 14, 2008 07:57 am Ifshan "Ashu" Hayat of Glendale, Ariz., and Robert W. Hobkirk of Oneonta were married March 23 at Villa Siena in Gilbert, Ariz. The bride is the daughter of Khizer and Pervez Hayat of Glendale. The groom is the son of Robert and Jean Hobkirk of Oneonta and the grandson of Catherine Gallagher, also of Oneonta. The Rev. Phillip Waring officiated the double-ring ceremony. Honor attendants for their sister were Shahana Hayat and Nadia Hayat. Groomsmen were Leonard Camacho and Joe Redmond. Flower girl was Kylie Jean Mussaw of Otego, niece of the groom. A reception was held immediately following the ceremony at Villa Siena. The bride is a 1996 graduate of Greenway High School and a 2000 graduate of the University of Arizona. She received her Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School in 2004. She is an administrative appeals attorney for Aetna in Phoenix. The groom graduated from Oneonta High School in 1997 and from Siena College in 2001. He also received his Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School in 2004. He is employed as a lawyer with James J. Everett and Associates in Phoenix. A honeymoon to Hawaii is planned for September. The couple live in Phoenix.
