She is a 2001 graduate of Mountain View High School in Thorndike, Maine, and a 2005 graduate of Hartwick College in Oneonta, with a bachelor's degree in sociology. She is employed at Motivational Services in Augusta, Maine. Her fiance is the son of Marie Osborne of South China, Maine, and the late Scott Osborne of Winslow, Maine. He is a 2001 graduate of Erskine Academy, he attended the University of Maine at Fort Kent and the University at Augusta. He is employed at Spurwink in Chelsea, Maine.
