MacDonald - Burnside

Jaclyn Olivia Burnside and Scott Wayne MacDonald were married June 6 at the Major's Inn in Gilbertsville.

The bride is the daughter of Mike and Linda Burnside of Unadilla.

The groom is the son of Sharon and Frank Bell, and Gordan MacDonald of Unadilla.

Justice of the peace Ken Nolan performed the double-ring ceremony. The bagpiper was Nathan Gill.

The bride wore a princess-cut gown with a black beaded design along the chest. She had a veil outlined in silk with pearl beads throughout. Her flower arrangement consisted of red roses with white daisies and miniature carnations.

The maid of honor was Beth Ann Whitmore. The bridesmaid was Melissa Burnside. The flower girls were Annette and Elaine Hopkins.

The best man was Donald Pennington. The usher was Brian MacDonald. The ring bearer was Sara Heeman.

A reception was held at the Major's Inn.

The bride is a 2008 graduate of Unatego Junior-Senior High School. She is employed at the Clara Welch Thanksgiving Home as a personal care aide.

The groom is a 2001 graduate of Unatego Junior-Senior High School. He is employed at Advance Auto Parts in customer service.

The couple honeymooned in the Bahamas. They live in Unadilla.
