Shannon Renee Walters and Patrick Lee Jacobson were married May 16 in Fayetteville, N.C.

The bride is the daughter of Tammy Walters Barnhill of Saint Pauls, N.C. The groom is the son of Clayton and Barbara Griffin of DeLancey. The groom is a staff sergeant with the U.S. Army in the 82nd Airborne Division.

The couple plan to live in Fayetteville, N.C.
