July 14, 2008 07:38 am Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Schuman of Meridale announce the engagement of their daughter, Jenny Lyn Schuman, to Victor Peter Harmyk Jr., son of Helen Harmyk and the late Victor Harmyk Sr. of Middletown, N.J. The bride-to-be is a 1995 graduate of Delaware Academy and a graduate of the State University College at Cortland. She received a bachelor's degree in hotel resort management from the State University College of Technology at Delhi. Her fiance is a 1985 graduate of Middletown South High School in Middletown, N.J. and attended the State University College of Agriculture and Technology at Morrisville's urban forestry and pomonology program. Both are employed at the Otesaga Hotel and Resort in Cooperstown. A September wedding is planned.
