July 21, 2008 07:40 am Angella Lindsley and David Smith were married June 21 at the First Baptist Church on Chestnut Street in Oneonta by Pastor William Lang. The bride is the daughter of Charlotte Card Lindsley and the late Ronald Lindsley of Otego. Her matron of honor was her sister, Kimberley Lindsley. The bridesmaids were Ann Palmatier, sister of the groom, and Kerri Harrington. The bride wore a strapless corset-closure gown with an embellished lace sweetheart neckline with an asymmetrical wrap. The side front introduced a draped taffeta overlay, revealing an embellished lace underlay, while the back of the gown featured romantic embellished lace motifs picking up the train. She carried a bouquet of satin Tiffany blue, lavender and white roses. The groom is the son of Theodore Smith and the late Joyce Baker Smith of Oxford. He is the grandson of Margaret (Baker) Robinson. The groom's best man was Dave "Sir" Finch. Ushers were Delbert "Snapper" VanDyke and Eric Eberling. The ring bearers were the groom's children, Holden and Austin Smith. A reception followed at the Elks Club in Oneonta. The couple honeymooned in the Caribbean and Cozumel, Mexico. The bride graduated from Unatego Junior-Senior High School in 1994 and graduated from a law enforcement academy. The groom graduated from Bainbridge-Guilford High School in 1994 and then attended the State University College of Agriculture and Technology at Morrisville, where he received an automotive degree in 1996. The couple live in Unadilla.
