---- — Stacey Van Dyk of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and Timothy J. Boland of Cooperstown are engaged to marry Jan. 5 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of John and Audrey Van Dyk of Kitchener, Ontario. She received her master’s degree in international political science from Dalhousie University and is pursuing a master’s degree in biblical studies from Regent College.
Her fiance is the son of Michael and Mary Boland Sr. of Hartwick. He is a graduate of Cooperstown Central School and Houghton College, and completed his master’s degree in Old Testament at Regent College in 2012. He is employed in the development office at Regent College.
The couple were engaged on Mount Gardner, Bowen Island, British Columbia in August.
