---- — Jacqueline Nicole Roy and Carlton Thomas Hallock were married on Saturday, Sept. 1, at St. Peter’s Church in Plattsburgh.
The Rev. John Downs, the bride’s hometown priest from Massena, and Deacon Mark Bennett from St. Peter’s Catholic Church, performed the ceremony.
The couple met at WPTZ-TV in Plattsburgh where the groom was a news anchor and the bride a news producer.
The couple live in Plattsburgh.
The bride is an assistant vice president and branch manager at Champlain National Bank in Lake Placid. She received a Master of Science degree from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from St. Lawrence University. She grew up and graduated from high school in Massena. The bride is the daughter of Robert and Patricia Roy of Montreal, Quebec.
The groom is an anchor and senior news producer at Mountain Lake PBS in Plattsburgh. Before that, he was a television news anchor at WPTZ for 11 years. He has also worked as a news anchor in Portland, Maine; Bangor, Maine, and Harrisburg, Pa. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University College at Plattsburgh. He grew up in Gilboa and graduated from Gilboa-Conesville Central School. He is the son of Anne Hallock and the late Carlton Hallock of Gilboa.
