---- — Jessie May Champlin and Chad Gerald Welch were married Aug. 18 at the Otesaga Hotel, Cooperstown, with the Rev. Jack Klosheim officiating.
The reception was held at the Otesaga Hotel.
The bride is the daughter of Craig and Maryann Champlin of Oxford,
The groom is the son of Michael and Rahlene Welch of Fly Creek.
Matron of honor was Nicole Rossley, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Renee Vigilante, sister of the groom; Amanda Parker, friend of bride; Melissa Chrystie, friend of bride; and Mikayla Vigilante, niece of the groom.
Best man was Thomas Craig, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Albert Vigilante, brother-in-law of the groom; and Matthew Grady, Bren Miosek and Ian Porto, friends of the groom. Ushers were Andrew Oberriter and Joshua Mitchell, friends of the groom; and Sean Kane, cousin of the groom. Ring bearers were Blake Rossley, nephew of the bride, and Connor Vigilante, nephew of the groom.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Oxford Academy High School and a 2006 graduate of Gannon University in Erie, Pa., with a Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Physician Assistant Science degree. She has been employed at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown as a physician’s assistant in the department of orthopeadics since October 2006.
The groom is a 1993 graduate of Cooperstown High School, and a 1997 graduate of LeMoyne College in Syracuse, with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with concentrations in marketing and philosophy. He has been employed at Smith-Cooperstown Inc. Ford since December 1997 as a sales consultant, manager of Internet sales and advertising.
The couple honeymooned in Ireland, and live in Springfield Center.
