---- — Danielle LaFrance of Oneonta and Kusal DeSilva of Colombo, Sri Lanka, were married Sept. 29 at Gilbert Lake State Park.
The bride is the daughter of Ronald LaFrance of Oneonta, and Pamela Goodrich of Burlington, Vt.
The groom is the son of Nilani and Gemunu DeSilva of Colombo, Sri Lanka.
The ceremony combined traditions from both cultures. Nicholas Zink, a friend of the couple, officiated.
The bride’s sisters, Aimee LaFrance, Michelle LaFrance and Lisa Ashworth, were the maids of honor.
The best men were Tharindu Meepegama, Russ Lindell and Nicholas Zink, all friends of the groom.
The groom is a 2007 graduate of Cornell University and works for the Melwater Group.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Cornell University, a 2012 graduate of the State University College at Cortland, and works for the Ithaca City School District.
The couple live in Ithaca.
