---- — Ashley Nicole Steere and Ian James Jeffery Luck were united in marriage on June at St. Mary's Church in Cooperstown. The nuptial mass was officiated by the Rev. John Rosson. A reception was held at the Louis C. Jones Center at The Farmers' Museum, also in Cooperstown.
The bride is the daughter of Alan and Roberta Steere of Schuyler Lake.
The groom is the son of Jeffrey and Denise Luck of Morrisonville.
The maid of honor was Robyn Maher, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Christina Baker, sister of the bride; Audra Squier, sister of the groom; and friends of the bride Caitlin Menotti and Kirsten McKeown. Adrianna Baker and Alexis Baker, nieces of the bride, served as flower girls.
The best man was Henry Phillip Maynard III, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Tyler Steere, brother of the bride, and friends of the groom Timothy Harrington, Matthew Collin and Matthew Jenkins.
The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a candlelight bridal gown. For the reception, she changed into a knee-length candlelight dress created by her aunt, Yvette Seamon.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Richfield Springs Central School and a 2007 graduate of Elmira College. In 2012, she received her doctorate in biochemistry from the University of Vermont.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Seton Catholic High School and a 2007 graduate of Ithaca College.
The couple spent the four weeks following their wedding traveling the United States on their honeymoon before moving to Beverly, Mass.
