A Jefferson woman was arrested on drunk driving charges after she drove into an unoccupied Delhi village home Saturday morning, Delhi police said today.
Cindy Trujillo, 36, was charged with driving while intoxicated and failure to keep right, village of Delhi Chief Michael Mills said. She apparently fell asleep while attempting to navigate the circular road at about 4:20 a.m., he said.
Because of the damage, the house had been declared unsafe by code enforcement until repairs could be made, Mills said. She was released on an appearance ticket, to appear May 13.
